Designer / Artist David Eagles launched 3rdborn in the year 2000. Eagles settled in Bali a decade ago & lives with his son and Balinese wife. 3rdborn's designs are often inspired by the relationship between good and evil. Many designs feature depictions of this universal cultural theme and Eagles admits it is sometimes hard to know which is the more influential on his work. The unpredictability and sensory over load of South East Asia constantly fuels Eagles creativity. Working with a small family run business 3rdborn's garments are handmade in a garage. Part of the success of the label is the hands on nature of its creator. when not designing for 3rdborn, Eagles spends his time surfing and
teaching Kickboxing. |
